Hina Khan and Rocky Jaiswal’s marriage is a beautiful example of the fact that some couples are truly made by God. In many interviews, Hina has told that Rocky stood as a strong support for her during her fight with cancer. After being in a relationship for 13 years, the couple got married on June 4, 2025. In a recent conversation, Hina told that her decision to marry Rocky was taken suddenly and she was not prepared for it in advance. He also revealed that they got married in just 15 minutes.

What did Hina Khan say about her marriage with Rocky?

Recently, during a conversation on Sania Mirza’s podcast, Hina Khan spoke openly about her marriage with Rocky Jaiswal. He told that he had decided to get married during his cancer treatment. He said that the decision was taken suddenly and it took them less than 15 minutes to complete the wedding rituals. Recalling what she said to Rocky, Hina said:

‘It was just a sudden decision. I told her – either you go ahead… you marry someone else, whoever you want, or you marry me only, because I don’t know what will happen tomorrow.

Why did Hina Khan marry Rocky in 15 minutes?

Sania was surprised to hear this from Hina and asked again whether she had really got married within 15 minutes. To this Hina replied that actually they got married in less than 15 minutes. The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress told that due to poor health she suddenly took this decision. She further told that when she expressed her desire to marry Rocky, she had no problem with it and was completely ready for this.

Hina and Rocky’s relationship is not dependent on marriage

In the same conversation, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ fame Hina said that marriage does not define their relationship. He told that nothing changed after marriage. He admitted that more than a year had passed and he could not even remember his first wedding anniversary. Hina told that she and Rocky came to know about their anniversary when people started congratulating them. He said:

‘We are very relaxed and cool with each other. We are not date people.

Hina got married in a hurry due to cancer

Hina told how her sister-in-law reminded her and Rocky of their first wedding anniversary. The couple celebrated their first anniversary on 6 June 2026. Sharing a sweet post, Hina admitted that she almost forgot her wedding anniversary. In this note, the TV actress told that every day is special for her. He said that dates do not matter to him. What matters most to them are the moments they spend together. Earlier in an interview, Hina had told that she and her husband Rocky Jaiswal were going through a very difficult phase during her fight with cancer. He told that their problems were not because there was no coordination between them, but at that time they were facing serious challenges related to real life and health.

Hina advised Rocky to marry someone else

Hina further told that at that time she had also asked Rocky to marry someone else, but Rocky decided to support Hina in every difficult situation. She told that it was only because of her husband’s support that she was able to come out of that difficult period. Although the couple had to take some difficult decisions, Rocky always stood by Hina and made every difficulty easy. The couple met on the sets of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and fell in love with each other. Hina told that she got married under the ‘Special Marriage Act’. She also responded to those people who are calling her marriage a ‘publicity stunt’. He said:

‘I don’t care what people say… we know the truth. If you look at it from the perspective of publicity, the real reason will be hidden. We got married because we kept dating each other for a long time, i.e. 13-14 years.
