Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran are all set to tie the knot in November this year.
Hours after Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy confirmed the details of the couple’s wedding, new pictures of Anirudh and Sun TV Group Chairman Kalanithi Maran meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay have surfaced on the internet.
Sun News, the Tamil news network of Sun TV, shared pictures of the meeting on X.
The post states that Kalanithi Maran met the Prime Minister and invited him to a wedding reception for Kavya and Anirudh. Along with the musician, family members of the couple were also present during the meeting.
However, Anirudh did not appear in the photos.
The post read, “Invitation Sun TV Group Chairman Kalanithi Maran met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited Kavia Kalanithi and Anirudh Ravichander to a wedding reception. Kavita’s parents, Lakshmi and Ravichander, were present along with Anirudh Ravichander.”

The network also shared pictures of Anirudh meeting Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay and inviting him to a reception. The Chief Minister of Telangana confirmed the marriage
The Chief Minister’s official also revealed that the reception will be held in Chennai on November 21.
The post read, “Chairman of Sun Group Mr. Kalanithi Maran and his wife Ms. Kaveri Maran met Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. A. Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills and invited him for the wedding reception of their daughter Kavya Maran. The wedding reception of Kavya Maran and Anirudh Ravichander is scheduled to be held in Chennai on November 2.”

According to A TOI Reportedly, Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran will get married on November 11 in Greece. As of now, neither Anirudh nor Kavya have officially confirmed the wedding or reception plans.
News of Anirudh planning to marry Kavya Maran first started in 2025. In June last year, the music director dismissed the rumours, saying, “Marriage ah? Sigh… Be happy, guys. Please stop rumours.”
The rumor started when a post on Reddit claimed that the pair had been seeing each other for over a year and were considering marriage.
In June 2026, Anirudh’s uncle and actor YG Mahindra appeared to confirm the marriage speculation while talking to KPTV.
She said, “The boy is a very gentle person. I hope something is holding him back, not someone. I would like to take this moment to congratulate him. He is joining a very big wedding. Based on what I have been told, it is a sure thing. They are getting married.”
Anirudh Ravichander is a popular music composer who has worked in many big films, including Leo, Indian 2, Vetaiyan, Vidamuyarchi And Coolies.
Kavya Maran, on the other hand, is the daughter of Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran and works as an executive director at Sun TV Network. She is also associated with the Indian Premier League as the owner of Kavya Sunrisers Hyderabad.
