Anu Aggarwal revisited a difficult chapter in her life when she suffered a coccyx fracture while shooting for a film. Return of the jewel thief With Dev Anand. Anu shared a series of throwback pictures on Instagram and looked back on the incident.

The actor spoke about the accident and shared details of the difficulties he faced during his recovery. According to Anu, he had an accident while shooting a scene with Dev Anand. She slipped and fell on a car, resulting in a fractured coccyx.

“There was a film I had signed before my leave. I was shooting a scene with Dev Anand when I slipped, fell on a car and broke my coccyx. What happened to me was not the only injury,” she wrote, revealing that she was living alone and had no help from the production. “I was living alone, and none of the productions helped. However, my neighbor gave me the name of a doctor, and when I saw him he told me that I had come in time. I needed an operation immediately; otherwise, I was told, my spine could be permanently crooked.”

Anu revealed that after the operation, she recovered quickly and was ready to return to the production of the film. However, he already had plans that lead him down a different path. He recalled that he was prepared to miss the red carpet when the film premiered in France. “I was soon fine and ready to shoot. I had already made plans to go to France for the Dhrupad retreat in the lavender fields, where my guru would be. I was going to miss the red carpet when my film was premiering in 1995, but my mind was ready. I was waiting for the film to be completed, as my dates were booked,” she wrote.

The project later suffered a major production setback as the producers ran out of money, halting the shoot. Anu recalled that three months passed without filming. By then she had shot a song and an important scene with Dev Anand. Anu later left the production, which he said he had already informed the producers about. The unfinished project became one of the final chapters of his film career.

Return of the jewel thief was a 1996 crime-action thriller film directed by Ashok Tyagi. The film was a follow-up to the 1967 classic. jewel thief. Dev Anand and Ashok Kumar reprized their roles in the sequel. However, the project fell through after production halted.
