Bhajan singer Anup Jalota has reacted to the incident of firing on Tiger Shroff and said that Salman Khan should apologize to the Bishnoi community to end the ongoing enmity.

Speaking exclusively to IANS, Anup said the community’s resentment over the 1998 blackbuck poaching case needs to be addressed and believes an apology from Salman could help prevent further incidents.

“I am deeply saddened by this. There is only one way to stop all this. Salman Khan should apologize to the Bishnoi community.”

Anoop said that he had made a similar appeal earlier and warned that if the matter remained unresolved, the animosity could affect Salman’s associates as well as their families.

“I have said this before. It is very important to apologize to the Bishnoi community who have been hurt otherwise the Bishnoi community will continue to be hurt. Those who worked with Salman Khan will suffer, their families will also suffer.”

The singer also urged Salman to take concrete steps to resolve the issue.

“So, why not take a firm decision to apologize to the Bishnoi community to end it all? That’s what I want.”

This comment of Anup has come after shots were fired at Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening. According to reports, unidentified assailants on a motorcycle opened fire when the actor was leaving after playing a football match.

Tiger escaped unhurt, while his driver and a passerby sustained bullet injuries. Both were taken to hospital and are said to be out of danger.

After the incident, a social media post and an audio message surfaced blaming persons claiming to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The messages claimed responsibility for the shooting, demanded an apology from Salman to the Bishnoi community and threatened people associated with the actor.

The rivalry between Salman and Lawrence Bishnoi dates back to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case in Rajasthan. The Bishnoi community considers the black deer sacred, and the matter remains a source of resentment.

Salman has faced many threats over the years. In April 2024, shots were fired outside his house in Mumbai’s Bandra area, raising concerns about threats against the actor.
