In a new post-release chat shared by the film’s production banner SLV Cinemas on YouTube, Nani spoke about the strong reactions to the film and admitted that he has rarely seen such negative reactions to any of his films.

But when someone says they didn’t like a movie, there’s a passion behind that reaction, an aggressive honesty. For Nani, the divided reaction also seems to come from the very nature of the film itself. He said he knew the film would draw strong reactions, but the scale of the backlash still surprised him.

“I knew the film would get a lot of reactions, but I didn’t expect such a backlash on Twitter and Instagram. It’s a strange feeling, but an experience nonetheless,” he said.

Srikanth Odela, meanwhile, admitted that he is still trying to figure out the answer. The filmmaker said, “I feel empty. I still need some more time to digest and understand the mixed reactions.”

This is not the first time that Nani has spoken about it paradise Mixed reviews. A day after the film’s release, the superstar posted a note

I am very happy with the way the audience owned the film, and also learned from the flaws pointed out by critics and reviewers. All I can say is thank you. We made #TheParadise and with a lot of your blood, we gave it a lot of experience for you. Celebrate or Judging by the enthusiasm you had for the film and the love you showered on me, I am filled with gratitude.

Released on September 24 paradise Kayadu Lohar and Raghav Jual are also there. The film is jointly bankrolled by Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas (SLV Cinemas) and IVY Entertainment.
