There are still a few weeks left Ramayana Release and if you want a lighter and desi-er version of the epic that has been remade for the big screen, don’t miss this Haryanvi version that is going viral.

This Ravana is not a Yash but it seems that he has come on a tractor instead of Pushpak Vimana.

You will never even hear Sita wooing Ravana and calling him”thick” Unless it’s the green version, of course.

She says, “How right is it that I should also give you charity and manage your ego?”

To top it off, when Sita says that her sister-in-law has drawn a line that she shouldn’t cross, Ravana asks if it was the LOC that she couldn’t cross.

Gives VFX Ramayana Fierce competition, so much so that Ravana himself is surprised when he calls upon Muli instead of Indra’s weapon Vajrastra to destroy Sita’s hut. You have to see it to believe it.

“Raavan comes to abduct Sita. This presentation is only an attempt to revive our religious and cultural traditions in a desi manner. We apologize for any mistake or misrepresentation. Jai Shri Ram!” Haryanvi Interval’s Instagram page captioned the post.

It’s all in good fun and faith.
