Although he did not mention anyone by name, his comments appeared to come amid social media trolling by his long-time friend and co-star Katrina Kaif.
Katrina was recently targeted online for her appearance and alleged weight gain after attending the Ganpati celebrations in Mumbai. The actor recently became a mother, and her appearance has sparked comments about her post-natal body.
Salman addressed the larger issue without naming Katrina, saying, “Why do you troll someone who is pregnant? Everyone gains weight after pregnancy… Pregnant. If you have gained weight, you will get fit again when you appear in movies.. She wanted to spend time with her family.”
