Fahadh Faasil has rarely spoken about his marriage to Nazriya Nazim, but the actor recently made a sweet and funny reference to his wife while talking about his young co-star Sasara Palekar.

At the Chennai promotion of his upcoming Telugu film Don’t bother the troubleFahadh talks about working with Sara. Praising the child artiste, he nurtured the vision and said, “So, I’m married with a child.”

He added, “People ask me, how much patience do you have to manage a child? So, I said, I have one at home. I’m dealing with it. (laughs) But I met a child who treated me.”

Fahad also praised Sara for being confident enough to correct him whenever he gets his lines wrong. She called him her favorite co-star.

Fahad and Nazriya have been married for over 12 years. Both got married on 21 August 2014 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. At that time, Fahad was 32 years old, while Nazriya was 19 years old. The age difference of the couple is about 12 years.

Born on August 8, 1982, Fahadh has kept his personal life mostly private. Nazria, born on 20 December 1994, has also rarely spoken publicly about her marriage.

The couple first met in 2013 while working on Anjali Menon’s film Bangalore day. Fahad and Nazriya played the role of a married couple in this film released in 2014. By the time the film hit theaters, the two were engaged.

They got married in August of the same year in the presence of their family and close friends. Years later, they shared the screen again Trans (2020).

Nazria recently hit the headlines after a cryptic Instagram post sparked speculation about their marriage troubles. In June, she shared a post that read, “I used to think bulls were crazy for chasing red flags but here I am.”

The post led to speculation among social media users, with some wondering if she was referring to Fahad. However, others believe that the post may be related to the shoot of his upcoming film Gracias El Clasico, which was set in Spain.

Neither Fahad nor Nazriya have addressed the speculation.
