While artificial intelligence is becoming more common, he joked that AI actors currently act like “potatoes,” which makes it easy for him to tell the difference.
During the press conference, Marion Cotillard said, “I think the day I was inspired by an AI actor, I would be very scared. For now, I see that they act like potatoes, and that reassures me. I wonder if one day it will happen, if one day I will be fooled by an actor. I have to admit that this is something that can scare me and think that.”
Cotillard’s comments on AI came after Tom Cruise shared his thoughts on the technology.
