Sutpa Sikdar took to Instagram to pay tribute to Nana Patekar, who died of a heart attack at her home in Goa at the age of 75. Sutpa Sikdar worked with him in Khamoshi: The Musical, which was his film debut.
Sutpa Sikdar shared a photo with her and wrote, “My first film, Silence: The Musical With NANA. He was known for his temper. I was known in my head for my piety. To this day I keep thinking what is it that made him like me? He was kind and generous to me. And we both hated living in one city. He went to a village; I’m trying.”
Remembering her husband late actor Irrfan Khan, Sutpa Sikdar added, “I will see you soon. I will meet you and Irfan, you will sit with me and abuse the wrong people.. Next station will be happy, that’s my prayer for you. .#Nana.”
(Irfan, you and I will sit together over tea and curse all that is wrong. I pray that your next stop is filled with peace.)
