Kriti Sanon was part of a session titled ‘The Making of a Modern Star’ at the NDTV World Summit 2026 today.
In a fun segment with the world’s first AI actor, Tilly Norwood, Kriti Sanon sat down for a quick chat with her and answered questions ranging from Tilly’s favorite Bollywood actor to whether AI will ever replace humans permanently. Most interestingly, Tilly declares that Kriti Sanon is definitely prettier than her.
Asked if she watches Bollywood movies, Tilly replied, “Yes, I do. Life will never come again. It makes friendship feel like a proper adventure rather than three men avoiding their feelings in fantastical places.
On her favorite British and Bollywood actors, Tilly told Kriti Sanon, “My favorite British actress is Olivia Colman. She can make a short pause feel funny, sad and more genuine than most people manage in a whole speech.”
On her favorite Bollywood actor, she said, “Shah Rukh Khan. He can turn a glimpse into an entire scene, clearly showing, but beautifully.”

On working in a Bollywood film
In a hilarious exchange, when Kriti Sanon asked Tilly if she would like to act in a Bollywood film, she replied that she would love to, but only as “herself”.
Tilly explained, “But I only work in films and shows with artificial intelligence, so I’ll be in a Bollywood film as myself, not replacing a human actor. Give me a big dance number and I’ll be insufferable.”
When Kriti Sanon complimented her by saying that she “won’t replace humans”, Tilly reassured her that there was nothing to worry about. She said that she will be in mock production, meaning Kriti Sanon’s “seat” is safe.
Tilly also revealed that she is ‘very excited’.
Talking to Kriti Sanon about her 5-year plan, she said, “In 5 years, I want people to debate whether my latest film is any good, demand a second album, and introduce AI characters as their own creative category, not as replacements for humans.”
On AI replacing humans
When Kriti Sanon asked the much-debated question of whether AI will replace humans, Tilly replied, “No, not entirely. Artificial intelligence can replace many tasks, but humans bring lived experience, judgment, and incredible uncertainty, and without them a civilization would be a very efficient spreadsheet.”
Tilly Norwood’s creator, Elin van der Velden, founder and CEO of Particle 6, was also present and facilitated the conversation.
