Taken on a 10-head portrait of Yash

Earlier in an interview Review NationYash talked about his character Ravana’s 10 heads in the film. He was asked about the different voices and personas he adopted for all the 10 chiefs.

Sharing the process behind how the scene was conceived, Yash said, “When Nitesh sir and I were discussing it, we knew how to play the scene. Different characters have to come up because we have those different personalities inside us. No matter how we present ourselves to the world, we have those dilemmas in our minds. Sometimes we are very weak, sometimes we are very vulnerable and sometimes we are very vulnerable. These different thought processes exist in everyone, so we wanted our interpretation to be very unique and special.”

He added, “The idea of that scene was to bring out that dilemma in the most natural way. The physical form was just a backdrop because Ravana is written as a man with ten heads, which means ten personalities within him. I wanted each one to have a different voice. I could have played it in one voice, but I started imagining that each personality could speak like that or look like that. I was very much an artist, producer, director, producer-director. He gave me that space and asked me how I wanted to play it.”

Also, Yash explained that some qualities were shown earlier, and he retained them. It was the rest that the actor imagined himself. He also mentioned how technically challenging the sequence was to shoot, taking around six to seven days to complete.
