Arijit Singh’s soulful track Phir Se from Dhurandhar: The Revenge entered Grammy consideration for Best Song Written for Visual Media. The singer shared a grateful post on his Instagram feed, announcing the news.

However, Grammy consideration is not the same as an official Grammy nomination. A song must go through the Recording Academy’s qualification and voting process before any nominations can be announced.

Arijit’s post read, “Revenge from #FirseDhurandhar for your Grammy consideration in Best Song Written for Visual Media. Thanks for all the love. Link below for more details.”

Launched by T-Series and B62 Studios, the campaign features the soundtrack album and several individual songs across multiple categories including global music, Asian pop, songwriting, rap, dance and electronic recordings.

Other entries include Aari Aari, Jaan Se Gujarte Hain, Kanhaiya and Jae Sajjana. The campaign aims to bring wider international attention to the music composed for the film.

The music of Dhurandhar: Revenge is composed by Shashwat Sachdev and the lyrics are written by Irshad Kamil and Kumar (with contributions from Bombay Rockers for special tracks).

The song, Phir Se, comes at the very end of the film, which has a significant impact on the narrative as Jaskirat Singh Rangi heads home after his mission in Pakistan.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar became the largest Indian franchise in India grossing over Rs 3,000 crore.

The first part of the film was released in December 2025. The second installment came in March this year. Apart from Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Madhavan, Akshay Khanna are playing important roles in the franchise.

With Phir Se song making its way to Grammy considerations, producers are pinning their hopes on a possible win, signaling a major shift for Indian music on the global platform.
