paradiseAbhinit Naani registered the biggest opening of his career on its release on Thursday. However, the film saw a significant drop in its collections on Friday amid lukewarm reviews from critics and audiences. Reviews and ratings for the action drama have now been disabled on ticketing platform BookMyShow.
paradise The page on BookMyShow currently displays the message ‘Rating and review disabled’. This decision has come after many other films including Poisonous: A Fairy Tale for Adults, Ustad Bhagat Singh, O’Romeo And Man Shankara War Prasad GuruTheir ratings and reviews on the platform were also disabled.
Manufacturers have previously claimed that such measures are aimed at preventing review bombardment by bots rather than feedback from real viewers. However, BookMyShow has not publicly stated the reason for disabling reviews and ratings paradise
The makers were given relief by the Bangalore court paradise, Prohibiting the publication and transmission of material deemed “defamatory” against the film. The court’s order sparked discussion on social media over whether it could have an impact on audience feedback. Nani, however, clarified that the purpose of the order was not actual reviews.
