A Bhajan clubbing program was organized in Delhi on Friday on the 110th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. The evening brought together devotional and contemporary music.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the event, where singer Sadhu Tiwari, known for his work Hanuman Ansh, The famous devotional song of the film was performed, Parvati. As the bhajan was played, the Prime Minister was seen singing along with the Gen Z audience.
In a video shared on Instagram, PM Modi was seen fully engaging with the crowd, clapping and playing a dagger during a show of spiritual devotion.
Prime Minister Modi later shared a video of the incident on social media. “Bhajan Clubbing in Delhi. Awesome!,” he wrote.

Hanuman Part Actor Shobhinav Satya was also present at the event and Prime Minister Narendra Modi reacted to the film’s devotional song. During a conversation with NDTV, Shobhinav expressed regret for not meeting the Prime Minister.
He said, “The steps he took, the way he came here and sat on the chair, playing some instrument in his hands, the way he was doing it, it was like he became a child among children. I think only a true saint can do that. To me, he is like a true saint.”
