Rajinikanth starrer film shooting religious is progressing smoothly, and the actor has no differences with director Ashwath Marimuthu, his team revealed. The clarification comes after a post – now deleted – on X claimed that an issue made the on-set environment a little uncomfortable.
A member of Rajinikanth’s team has dismissed these claims and said the jailer Sitara is happy and comfortable working with Ashwath, the film is progressing without any problems.
The person said that they have personally seen the director working with energy and that Rajinikanth is enjoying his time. He said that the superstar feels excited during the shooting of the film.

Ashwath was not the first choice director for Marimuthu religiousWhich is produced by Kamal Haasan. On film Launch event In June, Rajinikanth had revealed that the team had initially chosen KS Ravikumar, but that didn’t happen. Later, Sundar C joined the project, but he had another film commitment.
As a result, he had to leave religiousDue to which the progress of the film was delayed. After these changes, Ashwath was finalized to direct the film.
The superstar further claimed that CB Chakraborty had also joined the film, but he has come up with a new story. The story was about a nuclear scientist and nuclear technology.
Although the team liked the idea, it was difficult to build as it required a lot of planning and time. The film was also to be shot in Afghanistan and Russia. So, the team decided to put the project on hold and work on it later.
