Producers of The Ramayana has released a new song from the film, mars color Composed by AR Rahman, the track features the voices of Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal. The music video captures the holy union of Ranbir Kapoor’s Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi’s Goddess Sita. The song celebrates the beginning of their journey together.
mars color Begins with a glimpse of Mithila, where Sita is having her Swayamvar. Lord Rama arrives at the ceremony and tries to lift Lord Shiva’s bow, setting the stage for the events that follow. The video then transitions to the wedding festivities as Sita walks towards the mandap with her three sisters. After the wedding, Rama and Sita returned to Ayodhya to begin their married life. The song focuses on the sacred union of Rama and Sita and their enduring love.
AR Rahman talks about bringing the love story of Ram and Sita to life mars color. “The Ramayana is a story that has lived in people’s hearts for generations, and it was a very special experience for me to reach it through music. There is a certain purity and tenderness in the relationship between Rama and Sita that I wanted the music to retain. With Mangal Rang, I hope the audience feels that warmth and devotion, and they feel something personal in the tune,” they feel the need to explain in the stories. Arijit Singh narrated the song mars color as a transformative experience, while Shreya Ghoshal said the song helped her connect with the faith, understanding and quiet strength that defines Rama and Sita’s eternal love.
Earlier the makers had released two tracks The Ramayana, Jai Jai Ram And Ravana Tandav This film is AR. Marks the first collaboration between Rahman and Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer, who is making his Indian cinema debut. Hans is known for scoring Hollywood films viz The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Inception And Interstellar.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, The Ramayana Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Ravi Dubey, Yash, Sunny Deol, Rakul Preet Singh and Lara Dutta are in lead roles. The film is scheduled to release in theaters worldwide on November 5.
