Ranbir Kapoor fans may have a reason to celebrate. Ramayana Part 1 May hit theaters a day earlier than previously planned. The Nitesh Tiwari directorial, which was scheduled to release on November 6, has reportedly been pushed to November 5. If the new date gets the final approval, the makers are expected to make an official announcement soon.
A source said Bollywood mayhem“The producer of The Ramayana has now decided to release his Kirt Pyaar on Thursday, November 5. Also, this time it is planned to release worldwide, i.e. in India as well as abroad on the same day. The partners are more or less on board with this new release date. If it gets the final approval, the makers will make an official announcement about it.”
As the release date approaches, the makers are also ramping up the promotions and giving the audience a better look at the characters. A few days ago, the character poster of the much-awaited epic was unveiled.
One of the posters featured Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram along with Sai Pallavi as Sita and Ravi Dubey as Laxman. The three were seen in the background of a forest. Another poster focuses on Yash as Raavan and gives viewers a closer look at the antagonist’s stunning looks.

The Ramayana is being mounted as a grand cinematic adaptation of the ancient Indian epic. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and Ravi Dubey, the film stars Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Rakul Preet Singh Surpankha, Lara Dutta Kaikai and Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodri.
The story will be released in two parts. While the first installment will arrive this year, the second part is slated for a Diwali 2027 release.
