Suri praised Jason Sanjay at the trailer and audio launch event sigma. The actor praised the new director and recalled how he narrated the nearly two-and-a-half-hour film and described Jason’s humility as one of his standout qualities.
Suri recalls the day he met Jason Sanjay at Lyca Productions’ Tamil Kumaran’s office a year and a half ago. “When I came to Tamil Kumaran sir’s office, you stated sigma The script for two and a half hours literally felt like I was talking to Vijay Anna for those two and a half hours. I felt like I was with my appa,” shared Suri.
Jason’s comparison to Vijay became one of the key moments of the evening as Suri reflected on Jason’s influence during their first meeting. Speaking about Jason’s humility, Suri said, “It’s a big thing to be humble. You must succeed as a director. But sometimes, you also have to act as a hero.”
Jason, in turn, expressed his gratitude to Suri for the compliment and assured that they would collaborate in the future.
During the event, Jason paid attention to his support system, thanking his mother Sangeeta, father Vijay and sister Divya Sasha. “I would like to thank my mother. I would like to thank my father, who is the chief minister today. And I would like to thank my dear sister Divya,” he said during his speech.
He also mentioned his uncle Sanjeev, recalling how he approached him after college with the idea of becoming a director. Jason revealed how Sanjeev immediately agreed to support his decision and described him as “the most trusted person in this world”.
Jason Sanjay will make his directorial debut in the upcoming Tamil-Telugu action-adventure. Heist. Supported by Lyca Productions, sigma Sandeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah in the lead roles along with Sampath Raj, Raju Sundaram, Shiv Pandit, Sheela Rajkumar and others. This film is scheduled to release in theaters on October 2.
