Veteran actor Raza Murad has criticized the absence of major Bollywood stars at the funeral of actor Mushtaq Khan, who passed away on September 24.

In a video message, Raza expressed disappointment that no major star had come to pay his last respects to Khan, who worked for nearly five decades in the Hindi film industry.

Raza then questioned the priorities of celebrities, contrasting their absence from Khan’s funeral with their participation in high-profile social events.

The actor also spoke about the fleeting nature of fame and urged people in the industry to remember that their actions and behavior are ultimately what remain.

Appreciating Khan’s professional journey, Raza said the late actor established himself through his work and did not depend on personal favors to build his career.

Raza added that Khan had never depended on the approval of the industry and would not need it after his death.
