Shah Rukh Khan visited Mumbai’s famous Lalbaghcha Raja Pandal to seek the blessings of Ganapati Bappa during Ganesh Utsav on Monday.

The actor was accompanied by his wife Gauri Khan, daughter Suhana Khan and manager Pooja Dadlani.

Shah Rukh Khan’s arrival drew a huge crowd of devotees and fans at the popular pandal. The actor was protected by tight security as people thronged to catch a glimpse of him. On this occasion, he was wearing a blue kurta. Suhana accompanied her in a green traditional dress, while Gauri opted for a yellow ethnic wear.

During this year’s Ganesh festival, many other Bollywood celebrities also visited Lalbagcha Raja. These include Prithviraj Sukumaran, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, Shilpa Shetty, Siddharth Malhotra and others.

Earlier this month, Shah Rukh interacted with fans during an AskSRK session on X, where he talked about his family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

When a fan asked him about the celebrations at home, Shah Rukh said, “Wife does aarti and then prays and will do visarjan tonight. Kids and friends get together to hang out and laugh a lot. Very simple and family time.”

Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s film the king. It is scheduled around the same time as major Hollywood releases Avengers: Doomsday And Tune: Part Three, December 24
