Looking back on his five-decade-long journey, Chiranjeevi thanked the filmmakers and technicians and thanked the generations of fans who have supported him.

He added that the collective support of everyone associated with his films helped him get to where he is today. However, he said that the love of his fans outweighs all his professional achievements and accolades.

The actor, born Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad, reflected on the significance of his screen name and recalled the day on September 22, 1978, when he took the name “Chiranjeevi”. He shared, “That day, ‘Chiranjeevi’ was the name I took, today, with your love, it has become my eternal identity.”
Since making his debut in 1978, Chiranjeevi has been seen in several films, including Indira, Tagore, Khaidi, Gang Leader, Rudraveena, Voltaire Veerya And godfather. Chiranjeevi remains active with several projects.
