However, Pony believes that this age difference became the reason for the strength of their relationship. In a recent conversation with Prakash Raj, she spoke openly about her love story, marriage, family and her decision to leave Mumbai and settle in Hyderabad.

Age difference of 12 years becomes the quality of relationship

In a conversation with Prema, Pony Verma told that when she decided to marry Prakash Raj, many of her friends were against the relationship. The reason for this was the age difference of 12 years between the two. Pony said that her friends were angry that she was marrying a man 12 years her senior. However, Pony considers this not a weakness of their relationship, but a strength. According to him, Prakash Raj had gone through such experiences in life which he needed a companion to understand. He understood their struggles, thinking and different aspects of life better. Pony said that the arrival of Prakash Raj brought a pause and peace in her life. He told that Prakash taught him that there is no need to keep running all the time in life. Everything can fall into place in its own time and there is no need to constantly worry about anything. According to Pony, only a person like Prakash Raj could understand him well, because he himself has gained many experiences in life.

Prakash Raj was clear about marriage from the first meeting

Pony Verma told that the best thing about Prakash Raj was his clean and honest nature. Prakash never pretended to impress him nor tried to change his personality. Pony said that she had grown up in Mumbai, but Prakash Raj did not present any kind of glamor or artificial style to her. He remained in front of her as he was and she liked that. Pony also told that Prakash Raj was clear about his intentions from the beginning. He had clearly said that he is not there to spend time with anyone or be in a temporary relationship, but desires a long term relationship and marriage. His frank attitude impressed Pony a lot.

Prakash Raj also has a special relationship with his daughters.

Pony Verma also talked about her relationship with Prakash Raj’s daughters Pooja and Meghna from his first marriage. He told that a good relationship had developed between the two even before marriage and this family bond continues even today. According to Pony, Prakash’s two daughters were standing with him even on his wedding day. She had applied haldi and mehendi to her father during the wedding rituals and supported him throughout the ceremony. Pony told that the family spends time together every year in December. Apart from this, everyone is present with each other on every important occasion of life. He described this relationship as very warm and full of affection. This bond between the family remains intact even after almost 16 years of marriage.
