the story
The film is inspired by true events. The challenge before Inspector Madhukar Jhande (Manoj Bajpai) is to catch the dangerous serial killer Carl Bhojraj (Jim Sarab), who has escaped from Tihar Jail and is committing murders. A cat-and-mouse game ensues between the inspector and the killer, where Jhande’s life and the honor of the Mumbai police are at stake.

Manoj Bajpai impressed with his wit and juggernaut style as a local police officer. His dialogue delivery and timing keep the audience engaged. Jim Sarb, as Carl Bhojraj, creates fear and suspense. Sachin Khedekar, Girija Oak and Bhalchandra Kadam have also been successful in making their mark.
Direction and technical aspects
Director Chinmoy Mandalakar has given a light treatment to the story keeping it serious so that the film does not feel heavy. The old streets of Mumbai, the police station and the local life of that era are shown in a realistic style. Background music adds to the thrill and suspense.
