New Delhi:
Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Bollywood are often marked with family gatherings, festive rituals and the arrival of Lord Ganesha in homes. This year, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor celebrated the festival in their new bungalow with daughters Raha and Neetu Kapoor.
The family was spotted outside their newly built Krishna Raj bungalow as they stepped out for the Ganapati immersion. In a rare move, the couple even allowed the paparazzi inside the bungalow to catch a glimpse of their festive celebrations.
Ranbir chose an orange kurta with white pajama, while Alia wore a pink kurta with green pants. Their daughter Raha looked lovely in a soft pink lehenga and Neetu Kapoor completed the family in a printed blue corduroy set.
Videos of the celebrations show Alia carrying Raha, who rests her head on her mother’s shoulder. The actor tried to shield his daughter’s face from the cameras. Ranbir, meanwhile, was seen carrying the Ganesh idol as the family prepared to leave for the immersion.
