Hanuman Ansh, directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, is showing no signs of slowing down even after 46 days of release.

This film, which opened with Rs 10 lakh, earned Rs 276 crore in India after 46 days.

Crunching the numbers

On day 46, Hanuman Ansh collected a net of ₹4.15 crore from 7,629 shows, according to Seknilak.

This has taken the All India total to ₹325.95 crore and the All India total to ₹276.03 crore so far.

Overseas, the film collected ₹0.50 crore on day 46, taking its total overseas earnings to ₹26.50 crore so far.

This took the worldwide total collection to ₹352.45 crore.

Early days box office

According to Secnilak data, Hanuman Ansh collected Rs 1.08 crore in its first week. In the second week, there was only an increase of Rs. 40 lakh. Thus, the film earned only Rs 1.48 crore after 14 days.

Then things changed.

10.4 crores earned in the third week. On the 17th day itself, the film gave 2.2 crore rupees. Day 19 earned another Rs 2.35 crore. The fourth week was even stronger. The film collected Rs 6.25 crore on 22nd day, 9.25 crore on 23rd day and 12.75 crore on 24th day.

In other words, Hanuman Ansh earned more money on day 24 than its first two weeks combined.

The film didn’t have a huge audience to begin with. But people who saw it started talking about it. The subject also gives the film a specific audience. Neem Karoli Baba has a huge following in India and abroad. A film based on his life may connect with audiences who may not necessarily be regular followers of mainstream Bollywood releases.

Dr. Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh is a biographical devotional drama based on his book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life, which chronicles the life of Neem Karoli Baba. The film stars Shobhinav Satya and Chandan Anand in lead roles.
