Former Big Bang member Top and former School member Nana have confirmed that they are in a relationship.

The confirmation came on Friday, October 2, when Korean outlet Dispatch published a report claiming the two had been dating for several months.

TOP, whose real name is Choi Seung-hyun, is 38 years old, while the maternal grandfather, Im Jin-ah, is 35.

Dispatch also released pictures of the two together, allegedly taken during their time together.

The two celebrities reportedly met while working on the music video for TOP’s song Studio54 earlier this year.

According to TOP’s agency, Topspot Pictures, they became close after collaborating on the project, with their relationship turning romantic around June.

An insider quoted by Dispatch said TOP and Nana “have a deep understanding of each other”. The source added that the two had followed similar paths “including their debuts, careers, rumors and their wounds”.

Following the report, TOP’s agency confirmed that the couple was romantically involved. “They became close (after filming Studio 54) and it developed into a romantic relationship around June.”

Nana also opened up about the dating news on fan messaging platform Bubble. He admitted that the report caught him off guard as well, writing, “You must have been shocked. Me too, and I’m a little embarrassed.”

She added, “We will continue to see each other happy and healthy.”
