the latest Weekend time episode of Bigg Boss 20 has sparked a debate outside the house, with esports streamer Suraj Majumdar coming out in support of his friend ScoutOP. Suraj accused the producers of targeting the esports player and questioned why some incidents involving other contestants are not getting the same attention.
Taking to social media after the episode, Sooraj shared his side on Scout’s criticism during a conversation with host Salman Khan. He claimed that the makers are trying to shape the audience’s perception of Scout and portray him as the wrong person in the house.
“As you all saw in yesterday’s weekend raid, it was clear that Scout was being targeted,” he wrote.
The Sun added that Scout did not let the criticism go unchallenged. “The makers were trying to portray him as a villain and to show him as the wrong person, but he made sure to stand up for himself,” he added.
One of the main points raised by Suraj was the food plate and fellow contestant Qazi Taukeer incident. When the scout faced questions about how he handled the plate, Sun argued that the footage showed him putting it down correctly. He also questioned whether the alleged gesture was interpreted correctly, pointing out that the scout had allegedly given Qazi two extra loaves of bread.
The Sun’s post also focused on Qazi’s alleged behavior towards other housemates. He called the use of the word “the mosquito” to describe competitors and questioned why these comments did not receive similar scrutiny.
The streamer also defended the scout after he commented on Salman’s sitting position. Dismissing the criticism, Suraj wrote, “Is sitting with your legs crossed a wrong gesture? Bhai, that’s how a man sits.”
He also thanked Luv Gill for taking a stand on the sibling issue, claiming that the makers are exaggerating the issue. Sooraj questioned why Qazi’s alleged comment?I can get pregnant by spitting up”, and his reported scratching of the scout did not receive the same level of attention.
Wrapping up his post, the Sun praised Scout for standing her ground despite the criticism. He suggested that his friend understood what was going on at home and was not ready to back down.
“Scout understood what was going on and what the producers were trying to do and he stood his ground,” he wrote.
