On the occasion of Dussehra, Vijay Deverakonda shared a bunch of pictures with his better half, Rashmika Mandana, wishing fans and followers a Happy Dussehra. Vijay wrote, “Happy Dussehra to you all my dears. Good will always triumph over evil. It is the law of nature. May the blessings of the gods protect us all. Biggest hugs and love.”

In the pictures, Vijay and Rashmika are seen being felicitated with flowers on stage.

A few days ago, Rashmika went to Vijay’s school in Puttaparthi.

“Over the years, I have heard so many stories about where Vijay grew up, where he studied, his school days.. All his friends are from school and studied in Puttaparthi.. So I have always called them as Parthi boy and girl and along the way, they have become my best friends too. And I always feel like it was a lost place or I saw a place that was a puzzle. I heard a lot about it,” Rashmika said. Mandana wrote.

“Finally, I had the beautiful opportunity to visit Puttaparthi, see the school where they studied, their classrooms, their dorms and meet so many lovely people there and meet HM Aunty. And she is the sweetest person ever,” read an excerpt from her post.

After their grand wedding, Rashmika and Vijay are back with their third offering, Raanabali, which hits theaters on October 16.

Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabali is set in the 1800s. The film follows a man who takes over British rule after his people suffer from famine due to colonial policies. Speaking to fans in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, Vijay explained how Hollywood films shaped his own aspirations as an aspiring actor.

Produced by Mithri Movie Makers in association with T-Series, Ranabali also stars Arnold Voslu and Ishwari Rao in lead roles. The film marks the third on-screen collaboration between Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna after Geetha Govindam (2018) and Pyaare Comrade (2019).
