Before the global release of The Ramayana On November 5, the makers hosted two screenings in Mumbai on Tuesday. One was for the cast, and one for the crew. Celebrities from all mediums have started sharing reviews on them
YouTuber Ashish Chanchalani is leading the bandwagon. He shared a detailed review on X saying, The film is a blockbuster.
“Ramayan is truly a blockbuster of epic proportions, with some of the best action set pieces Indian cinema has ever produced. But beyond the stunning visual spectacle, the film’s greatest strength is Nitesh Tiwari’s deft direction. It is entirely his ship, and he steers it with supreme control,” he wrote.
Praising the pitch-perfect casting, Ashish wrote, “The casting is perfection: Ranbir, Sai and Yash absolutely hit it out of the park. A special shout-out to Ravi Dubey—he absolutely rocks it as Laxman. Surprisingly, the film has some of the best humorous scenes involving him.”
“While there are minor technical hiccups along the way (some of the de-aging shots in the night sequence feel a little off) the film is edited so tightly that you hardly notice. Every risk taken by DNEG and Namit Malhotra has paid off brilliantly, every action sequence out of the last. Nothing has been added to prevent this film from becoming historic.
“Don’t judge it by resorting to cheap leaks or piracy—it’s made for the big screen. After the Jatayu fight scene I was crying at the end,” he added.
Ashish urged his fans and followers to watch it on the big screen.

Marathi actor Ajinkya Deo wrote, “Just got out in the interval from the premiere of Ramayan….what a movie, it’s a great movie, visual effects set acting feels like an experience in theaters, it’s not a movie, it’s an experience not to be missed.”
