Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has talked about one of her career decisions taken after the stupendous success of ‘Stree 2’. Shraddha, who is preparing for her next film ‘Itha’, recently held a Q&A session on Instagram, in which she gave advice on how to take her career in the right direction. Answering a fan’s question, he mentioned his decision, which required a lot of patience and determination. Shraddha Kapoor also expressed her happiness on choosing the film ‘Itha’. Earlier, at the Ithaa trailer launch, the actress had also told the reason for working in this film.

A fan asked actress Shraddha for advice for young girls regarding their career. On this the actress said, ‘Let me tell you about myself. After Stree 2, I got offers for many films and was also offered a lot of money, but I had decided that I would not sign any film until I got the perfect story. My heart told me to be patient and I did exactly that.

Shraddha Kapoor further said, ‘Of course, the thing you really want to achieve. It may be difficult to wait for him, but today I am proud that I decided to wait. So I would say listen to your heart, sometimes it may seem difficult, but in the end it proves to be completely worth it.
The success of ‘Stree 2’ made Shraddha Kapoor a superstar
‘Stree 2′ emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year 2024, taking the success of Maddock Films’ horror-comedy universe to new heights. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film featured Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. In this, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee were also seen in important roles. The film took a great start and earned around Rs 55 crore on its first day including paid previews. The film’s performance remained strong in the weeks that followed. Within a few days of its release it crossed the Rs 500 crore mark worldwide. The film grossed a total of ₹857 crore worldwide and became the highest-grossing horror-comedy film of Indian cinema.

Shraddha is now waiting for the release of her next film ‘Itha’. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film is jointly produced with Dinesh Vijan and Karishma Sharma under the banner of Maddock Films and Kathputli Creations. Shraddha is in the lead role in the film, in which she is playing the character of Lavani artiste Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar. The cast of the film also includes Randeep Hooda, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub, Siddharth Jadhav, Ishtihak Khan and Anant Joshi.
