Our efforts to bring this story to life have been incredibly fruitful and I can’t wait to share it with the world.”

Director Aarti Kadav also expressed her gratitude.

She added, “I look forward to the films that screen at NYIFF every year. So I feel really privileged that we have been selected as the closing film of such a prestigious film festival. Our aim with this film is to connect with the Indian audience not only in India but also abroad and this platform helps us reach out to the diaspora. I am grateful to my producers Harman Baweja, Baweja Studios and Jio Studios who supported the journey of this film and made this day possible.”

Aarti added, “I am also thankful to the cast and crew for their hard work and sincerity which has made the film grow so well. We are all very happy and proud to present our country and our stories on the world stage and I feel very encouraged to keep working hard in all my endeavours.”

Harman Baweja, producer of Mrs. said, “I am very honoured that Mrs. has been selected as the closing film of NYIFF. NYIFF has a long legacy of celebrating ground-breaking Indian cinema, and we are very proud to be a part of it. We cannot wait to share our hard-earned work of Mrs. with audiences in New York.”
