Amitabh Bachchan has shared a glimpse of his bond with his son Abhishek Bachchan. The megastar reflected on how two people can have different views and still walk towards the same destination. The veteran actor spoke about the relationship in his latest blog post, where he also talked about respecting the younger generation.
Writing on his blog, Big B looked at the father-son relationship beyond their differences of opinion. He suggests that even though parents and children may see things differently, there may still be a shared understanding of where they want to go.
He wrote, “Both father and son lived, sitting on the stage; The thinking should be different, the destination should be different (Both father and son sit together on the same stage; their views may differ, but their destination remains the same).
Amitabh Bachchan then spoke about the importance of respecting the choices and opinions of the next generation. For him, a relationship is also about finding common ground while allowing each person to have their own perspective.
He added, “Always respect for the next generation…but the destination is always the same…which is the ideal of each path…and it has always been the relationship – find, explore, understand and design the destination that is shared by all in its beneficial incarnation: love, respect, and sometimes the love of well-wishers.”
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting the 18th season of the quiz-based reality show, Who will become a millionaire?.
On the film front, Big B was last seen in TJ Gianvelles Wetayan With Rajinikanth. He is now gearing up to make a comeback as Ashwathama in the sequel Kalki 2898 AD. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film also stars Prabhas and Kamal Haasan.
On the other hand, Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in it King Shivaji. The film was directed by Ritesh Deshmukh, who also played the lead role. Genelia D’Souza, Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan and Fardeen Khan were also part of the cast.
