Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam: Conclusion has completed its first week in theaters with a strong performance at the box office. The Hindi franchise is based on Mohanlal-led Malayalam films, but the latest chapter follows its own path as it brings the story to a close.

Fans, however, are hoping to see the comeback of Vijay Salgaonkar and have a small reason to be excited. Although the new film is called conclusionAjay has not completely ruled out the possibility of another sequel.

The actor clarified that the current film was planned as a conclusion, but he could not say anything about the future.

In an interview with gulf newsAjay Devgan said, “Right now, it’s a foregone conclusion. I can’t predict it. Never say never. The decision was, it’s the conclusion. The decision is right now that it’s the conclusion. Now.”

The actor said that the team had not planned to make a third one vision Film on the first. They discussed the idea and tried different stories, but the initial plans did not work. After several attempts, the writers finally found a story that felt right for the film. The team liked the script and he feels confident to go ahead with the third part.

According to Ajay Devgan, “We talked to them (the Malayalam team) and we were like, ‘Let’s make it, we have a script.’ And then they said they were working on something too and they had a script. So we thought, let’s listen to each other and decide what to do.

“In the end, we came to the conclusion that it’s a great script, but it’s best suited for their audience. And we were very confident about our script. So we decided we’d go ahead.”

Accordingly Seknilak, Drishyam: Conclusion has collected Rs 312 crore in India and Rs 95 crore from overseas markets. This has taken the worldwide box office collection of the film to Rs 407 crore.
