Janhvi Kapoor has confirmed her relationship with Shikhar Pahria and hinted when they might get married. on the Coffee with Karan 9The actor spoke candidly about her love life and made it clear that she is “not getting married for another two, three years.”
While she wants to protect her personal life from unwanted attention, she doesn’t think couples need to hide every detail of their romance. Janhvi believes that constantly hiding a relationship can be tiring and unnecessary.
Karan Johar revealed that Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar Paharia have moved in together, while Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora, Vedang Raina and Khushi Kapoor, and Veer Paharia and Tara Sutaria have ended their relationships.
She replied, “We managed with each other through our separate breakups with other people. So we’re pretty good at it. I’ve always wondered why everyone is so indifferent about it. Obviously, I don’t want the spotlight and I don’t want to be too obvious about what’s going on in my personal life, but I also don’t think people should rate us too much. Like, ‘Don’t ever let anyone know that it’s kind of boring. And it’s not a big deal.
Karan Johar then spoke about Janhvi Kapoor’s past relationships and how Shikhar Paharia has always been in her life. He recalled seeing Shikhar at the funeral of Janhvi’s mother, Sridevi, and said that his reaction made him feel that Shikhar was special to him, even though they were not dating at the time.
Janhvi shared that Shikhar came to Mumbai from London after finding out about it, though they were not in a relationship. He took leave from his studies and stayed at a friend’s house in Juhu for a month.
He didn’t see Janhvi every day, but he wanted to be close by if she needed her support. Janhvi later learns the reason for his visit and says that his caring nature can be seen even after meeting for a short time.
Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar Pahria have known each other for many years. Their relationship had its ups and downs, as they broke up and later got back together.
