motherland Was initially announced with the title Battle of Galvan. The name was changed earlier this year. The film, based on the 2020 conflict between India and China, has been awaiting approval from the government for a long time.

Earlier, the defense ministry had raised reservations over the film’s content and mention of China in view of improved ties between New Delhi and Beijing, the outlet said. Due to this, the shooting of the film got delayed.
A source told the outlet that the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting approved the film last week.
“I&B ministry officials are now satisfied with the new version motherland Presented by the manufacturers. So, they made the war saga NOC last week. This means the film can now be made available for public consumption,” the source said.
The report states that the new version of motherland portrays India-China relations in a “positive light”.

If the reports are true, the makers will soon submit the war drama to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
If the CBFC clearance process is completed this month, Salman Khan already has a release date in mind for the film.
“Salman Khan is now eyeing November 13. He believes that the time after Diwali, when people are still in a celebratory mood, will be suitable for the film’s release,” said the source.
A clear picture of the expected release date will emerge within the next 10 days.
