Veteran actor Mushtaq Khan, known for his supporting roles in films such as WelcomeDied at the age of 56 after a long battle with cancer. With his death, many celebrities from the film industry have expressed grief over the loss of the actor.

Filmmaker Anees Bazmee remembered Mushtaq Khan with an emotional post on Instagram.

Sharing a picture of the late actor, he wrote, “Shocked by the demise of Mushtaq Bhai (Mera Balu). Truly a great artist and a beautiful soul. May God rest his soul and give strength to his family and loved ones.”

Actor Raza Murad also paid tribute to Mushtaq Khan through a video message, expressing grief over his demise.

Sanjay Mishra, who worked with Mushtaq Khan Welcomealso recalled the actor while talking to ANI. “I heard she was feeling sick but I didn’t think she would go…but hello. Sad news hey” he said.

Mishra also spoke about the bond he shared with him and recalled the time when the late actor became like a mentor figure in his life. “At that point in my life, he became a guardian…whenever I needed, I took suggestions from him…sad news…he was a very good artist but he didn’t get enough credit.Mishra said.

Comedian Sunil Paul also remembered Mushtaq Khan through his Instagram stories paying tribute to the late actor.

Mushtaq Khan’s last rites will be held tomorrow. The actor is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
