Nushrat Bharucha has shared a health update after undergoing spine surgery following an accident in Bali. The actor took to Instagram to share a video of himself watching Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s song Ocher From the movie Heartfelt While recovering in the hospital.

In the video, Nushrat can be seen smiling as she watches songs on television, nurses helping her with food. Sharing the clip, she wrote, “And just like that, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol bring a smile to my face. A reminder, things get better…slowly…they always do. Slowly heal, dream endlessly.”

A day earlier, Nushrat had shared a picture on her Instagram Stories, showing an empty wheelchair placed next to a window with the sun setting in the distance. Reflecting on how her circumstances had changed, she wrote, “Forever chased the sunset, and so did my perspective. But, the picture is still just a friend.”

Nushrat fractured her spine in an accident during a work-cum-holiday trip to Bali. He was later sent back to Mumbai for surgery and further treatment.

His publicist had earlier confirmed the incident in a statement shared on social media. It read, “Nusrat Bharucha, who was on a work-cum-holiday trip to Bali, met with an unfortunate accident and fractured her spine.”

The statement said that the actor requires medical attention and will be brought back to Mumbai for treatment. His health and recovery were the team’s top priorities.

This injury may also affect Nushrat’s upcoming professional commitments. According to his team, he will need plenty of rest and time to recover before returning to work, which could lead to changes in his schedule in the coming weeks.

His publicist also appealed to fans and members of the media to give the actor the space he needs during his recovery. The team thanked everyone who sent messages of support and wished him a speedy recovery.

On the work front, Nushrat Bharucha was last seen in a Netflix film Uff ye SiapaWith Soham Shah and Nora Fatehi.
