There is excitement all around Nitesh Tiwari The Ramayana is in the making ahead of its theatrical release. Within eight days, the mythological saga has registered a total collection of Rs 14.10 crore from advance bookings. The film has so far sold tickets worth Rs 2.63 lakh in 6315 shows.

According to a report in SeknilakMost of the consumer demand originates from the Hindi version. It made Rs 12.17 crore or 86% of the gross, followed by the Kannada version at Rs 1.49 crore.

The Telugu version collected Rs 44.39 lakh. The growth momentum remains strong as the film has added Rs 98.10 lakh in revenue and sold 21,195 additional tickets since the previous day.

Delhi NCR has a strong opening demand with a gross of Rs 2.75 crore from over 37,000 tickets. Mumbai is in second place, earning Rs 2.05 crore from the sale of 29,538 tickets. Bengaluru is at the third position by collecting Rs 1.92 crore from 28,220 tickets. Hyderabad is at the fourth position, having earned Rs 80.87 lakh from 22,851 tickets.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, The Ramayana Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. The cast also includes Ravi Dubey as Laxman, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Arun Govil as King Dasharatha and Rakul Preet Singh as Surpankha.

Recently, Yash urged the audience to watch the film with an “open mind” instead of focusing on “minor flaws” in its visual effects or other aspects. The KGF actor also spoke about the money and effort invested in bringing the epic to life for a global audience.

This film is scheduled to release in theaters on November 5. The Ramayana: Part Two It is expected to arrive in 2027.
