Ramayana: The Rise of a Legend One of the most awaited Indian movies of this year. The film is just four days away from its release on November 5, and Yash has brought his kids, Aira and Yatharav, to watch him bring to life one of the biggest villains on the big screen.

The family saw the film at its world premiere at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles on October 27. The actor, who plays Ravana in the mythological epic, opened up about his children’s reaction after watching the film.

During the final stages of the film’s promotions, Yash revealed that his children had asked a lot of questions after watching the film.

“I could see they had a lot of questions because for them, life is just beginning,” he said.

Sai Pallavi reveals that she cried after seeing Yash’s son as Ravana

As he went on to reveal his son’s emotional reaction to a fight scene, co-star Sai Pallavi revealed that Yathrav started crying after seeing Yash’s character, Ravana, kill Jatayu.

“He said to Yash, ‘I didn’t like you killing that bird,'” Sai Pallavi told media.

Sai added, “He knows it’s his dad and he’s done films before and maybe he used to act. But he said, ‘No, it’s not good. It’s not good that you kill the bird in the film too. I don’t think you should have done that.’ It was a beautiful moment.”

How Yash reached Ravana

Apart from sharing his children’s reaction, Yash also spoke about the challenges of portraying Ravana.

“For me, it was a challenging part to get to that stage to make everyone believe that he’s impossible to beat, that he’s invincible,” he explained, adding, “When you’re portraying that role, if you’re not sure of yourself and if you’re not portraying it the way it’s supposed to be, people won’t feel good about it, where I’d say it’s the whole role. Good.’ There is a difference between Ravana being strong and Ravana being strong in me. This is the gap I’m talking about. “

He also wanted to portray Ravana as a one-dimensional villain beyond his traditional portrayal. “Sometimes you want to give people another perspective, give them a chance to understand that he had some good qualities. It’s not just black and white. To get people to reason with him, to understand what he was trying to do and where he went wrong. That was quite interesting and challenging for me,” he said.

Yash further explained how he wanted the character’s power to be evident in his expression and personality rather than just his looks. “It has to be in the eyes. Not just in the physical form. Imagine, this is a man who was the ruler of the three realms. He was so powerful. How would he talk when he was talking? Normally, we assume he would talk with pride or arrogance. But I didn’t want to take that approach. I wanted him to be sarcastic, witty. “He had a touch of touch.
