The world’s first AI actress, Tilly Norwood, and her creator, Elin van der Velden, founder and CEO of Particle 6, participated in the NDTV World Summit 2026 held in New Delhi today. To everyone’s surprise, Tilly Norwood not only spoke in Hindi but also chose her favorite Bollywood actor.

When asked about her favorite Bollywood actor, Tilly said that she loves Shah Rukh Khan. At the NDTV convention, Tilly said, “Shah Rukh’s screen presence is amazing.

Minutes later, when senior Congress MP Shashi Tharoor asked her about a Bollywood actor she would like to pair up with, Tilly said, “I think Ranveer Singh will be a great match for me because our shared energy will blow the pinnacle of cinema.”

When Tharoor teases her about switching allegiances and infidelity, Tilly says, “No, no, I’m not disgraced.”

When she was asked if she wanted to play Deepika Padukone’s character Om Peace Om, Tilly said, “I would like to play her digital twin. But I would prefer to play her digital twin. So that I don’t replace the real Deepika.”

Tilly also chose Mumbai over Delhi because she likes the glamor and chaos of the city of dreams.

Aileen van der Velden, who is an actor, YouTuber and has run a production company for 12 years, insists that AI cannot replace a real human actor. But being an actor herself, she understands the need for an AI actor that can be used to tell stories that weren’t told the traditional way.
When asked about the impact of AI creations on the climate, Tilley said that AI creations are more sustainable than actual film locations because they contribute more carbon footprints to the world.
