Former Indian cricketers Sunil Gavaskar and Ravi Shastri will be seen in the upcoming episode The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 5. In a promo of the episode, Ravi Shastri recalls an incident about Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma when they were dating.

In the video, Ravi Shastri is seen telling the host Kapil Sharma that players need the support of their teammates. Citing the example of Virat Kohli, he recalled an Anushka Sharma match in which the cricketer scored 160 runs.

He said, “Players need support, so they should be allowed to bring their girlfriends. And she was allowed. The match started on the 26th, Kohli charged like a warrior and scored 160. And when he scored a century, he kissed his bat…”

During the conversation, Ravi Shastri recreated the moment by pointing at Anushka Sharma and mimicking Virat Kohli’s flying-kiss celebration.

The promo also shows Sunil Gavaskar looking back on his sporting career. When Kapil Sharma asked him about facing the fast bowlers without a helmet, the former India captain joked that he didn’t wear one because “there was nothing inside.”

The upcoming episode will also feature Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, and Krishna Abhishek.
