Reality TV star Shreya Kalra hit out at Karan Patel after claiming that some people’s lives seem to revolve around Instagram and Reels. Calling out the actor’s comments, Shreya pointed out that he has insulted the contestants of the reality show by suggesting that they participate only to get footage.
On Instagram Stories, Shreya wrote a long note. “You were insulting us by saying that people do stuff like this on reality shows just to get footage. And the irony is that her show is now trending #1,” he wrote.
Highlighting the irony, Shreya said that people making such comments are also participating in reality shows. “And just because we’ve participated in a reality show doesn’t mean that’s the only thing we do or that we only live on one platform.
“We have careers, projects, businesses and lives beyond reality television. So maybe start respecting everyone else’s profession if you expect people to respect yours,” he said.

Shreya further told her not to look down on people just because they come from a reality TV background. “And honestly, stop putting people down just because they come from reality TV. You’re part of a reality show too. So what are you really trying to prove by putting down the platform you’re a part of?” he asked.
Shreya clarified that there is nothing wrong with being a reality TV contestant, saying that the real problem is “looking down on someone else’s work to make yourself feel superior.”
Shreya’s answer has come in the latest episode Rise and fall 2Karan Patel takes a dig at Shreya Kalra and her boyfriend Rishabh Jaiswal. When Shreya told Rishabh that her comments were going viral on social media, Karan commented, “When will you be in the reels? Come sometimes in real life too (How long are you guys going to stay inside the reels)? Step into real life too. Karan’s comment appeared to target the couple’s focus on social media, prompting Shreya to hit back at him.
