After Govinda’s rumored girlfriend, Divya Khosla has come out in support of Sunita Ahuja. form Co-star Komal Rani Swarankar has leveled serious allegations against the actor’s wife. Komal shared a lengthy note in which she accused Sunita of allegedly “trying to kill her husband for years”.
Reacting to Komal’s comments, Divya took to her Instagram Stories to question Govinda’s recent public appearances with Komal. He also said that Sunita deserves more respect after standing by her husband for years.
Divya begins her note by saying that society once lived in a polygamous system where women were treated as little more than men as slaves. She added that over the years, women have worked very hard to become independent and create their own identity.
“It was a revolution, which changed our society from a polygamous to a monogamous society. Many women participated in this revolution, women from all walks of life,” she said, adding that the ongoing Govinda-Sunita relationship row made all this questionable.

He further spoke about Govinda and his popularity during the 1990s, saying that he is a “very senior and respected actor” and that he and his mother admired him. However, his recent appearance had changed how she saw him.
He added, “Sunita ji, as a woman, gave you everything. She was loyal. She raised your children. She never made a career of herself. What else can a woman do? She was the woman behind your success. You are successful outside, but you don’t get the credit alone. I guess you never had to shoulder the responsibility of your children at home.”
Divya at Govinda’s appearance with gentleness
Questioning Govinda’s presentation with Komal, Divya said she found it difficult to watch the situation, especially when a recent video of Sunita Ahuja being shared publicly after discussing their alleged relationship surfaced online seeking support.
“Now a woman is standing in front of us, in front of the whole society, pleading and begging for help, and we are all silent. No one wants to interfere in private matters, but then why are we, as the audience, falling prey to what is being displayed to us? Why do we see Govindaji with his girlfriend every other day? When it is involved in so many atrocities, especially for me, it is an atrocity. Many ways.”
The actor also spoke about Sunita’s feelings and said that she deserves support and care at this stage of her life.

Slamming Komal Rani’s Sunita Ahuja, Divya further wrote, “Let’s save our culture. Even if you have an affair, please don’t put it on public display. We are not interested. Divya ended her note directly addressing Govinda, “And my request to Govinda: You are a great man, sir, but your honor is in your own hands. You are setting a very bad example for future generations, and you have lost your honor in my eyes.”
