Nitesh Tiwari’s most awaited mythological saga, The RamayanaJust a month away from its grand theatrical release. As the premiere date inches closer, the makers are pulling out all the stops to pump up the excitement of movie buffs. Now, they have unveiled the new character posters for the film which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and Ravi Dubey.

The new posters offer a closer look at the characters, and fans are clearly impressed. They believe the posters are better than any poster the team has released so far.

The first poster features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshmana in a forest backdrop during their exile. All the three actors wore simple traditional saffron attire in their character portrayals.

Ranbir Kapoor was presented with a bow in his hands. Ravi Dubey is also seen with a bow, while Sai Pallavi looks serene and beautiful as Goddess Sita.

The makers shared the visual with the caption, “Always together, in religion.”

The next poster presents Yash’s Ravana in golden Lanka.

Dressed in a traditional brown outfit and gold jewellery, Yash looks menacing, and his intense expression gives the character a powerful screen presence, as we saw in the trailer.

Posting it, the makers captioned it, “Ruler of all 3 worlds, Ravana.”

The posters soon garnered a lot of reactions from social media users.

“The first poster should be dropped first, tha yaar (They should have dropped these posters first),” said one user.

One person commented, “Best poster ever #The Ramayana Superstar Yash’s screen presence is nothing short of amazing.

“Never seen an antagonist create this level of craze and carry an entire film on his shoulders,” said another.

What we know about The Ramayana?

The mythological saga, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is a stunning cinematic adaptation of the ancient Indian epic. The Ramayana Featuring a powerhouse cast of talented actors to deliver the biggest cinematic treat of the year.

Ranbir Kapoor played the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi played the role of Sita, and Ravi Dubey played the role of Laxman. South star Yash is playing the role of Ravana, while Sunny Deol is playing the role of Hanuman. Rakul Preet Singh appears as Surpankha, Lara Dutta as Kaikai and Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodri.

Backed by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios, VFX studio DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the film’s music is composed by Academy Award-winning composers Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman.

Made on a whopping budget of Rs 4,000 crore. The Ramayana Will be released in two parts. Mark your calendars! The first installment is scheduled to release on November 6 internationally, while the film is slated to release in India on November 8 during Diwali. The second part is slated for a Diwali 2027 release.
