Tiger Shroff’s shooting incident has raised concerns about the safety of Bollywood celebrities.
Following the incident, the All Stars Football Club (ASFC), which counts several film personalities among its members, has suspended its regular football practice sessions until adequate security arrangements are made.
The club had canceled its scheduled warm-up match on 25 October, a week after the shooting incident outside the playground of Jamnabai Narsi School in Mumbai’s Juhu area on 18 October.
ASFC owner Bunty Walia has also suspended all training sessions following the incident. The decision comes amid concerns over the safety of celebrities who regularly attend the club’s Sunday evening football matches. Bunty Walia confirmed that practice matches were canceled after the attack.
“All sessions have been suspended. For now, until we implement our security protocols, this is the best course of action,” he told NDTV.
The ASFC is also reportedly considering changes in the way it conducts training sessions. As part of the proposed security measures, the club could keep its sessions away from the lens of the paparazzi and refrain from publicly disclosing the dates and venues of upcoming matches.
The move is intended to limit public attention around sessions while the club assesses the security measures required to resume its regular football activities.
