Siddharth Malhotra and Tamannaah wawan has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic box office within seven days of its release. Just like Devgan Dristim 3 Releasing in theaters today, it will be interesting to see how the film manages to keep its footing despite the stiff competition.

Crunching the numbers

Sharing the break-up of the numbers, trade analyst Taran Adarsh ​​said that the film has been accepted in public circuits before completing a week.

“TheVvaan is all set to touch the ₹ 50 crore mark in Week 1, thus emerging as a success story… The film remained largely steady on Tuesday, getting that extra push from discounted ticket rates.

“#TheVvaan has received strong acceptance in the mass circuits, performing very well on weekdays as well.

The Kalpana thriller is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra of Panchayat fame. The film stars Siddharth Malhotra and Tamannaah in the lead roles, with Anup Soni, Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari and Manish Paul in supporting roles.
