Siddharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia wawan In Bihar’s Muzaffarpur, there has been an overwhelming response from the audience.
The film depicts the folk traditions of Bihar and the belief surrounding Chhath Puja, and this connection was shown in a cinema hall in the city.
At the Cine Galaxy Palace, some audience members were seen removing their shoes and slippers before entering the theatre. Some people even bowed before the movie poster at the entrance before entering. A video of this time has surfaced on social media.
The Chhath Puja-like atmosphere continued inside the cinema hall, where garbage was also distributed among some of the audience. The celebrations gave the stage a festive feel and reminded many of the traditions associated with Chhath Puja.
Viewers said they felt a special connection with the film due to its depiction of Chhath Puja and the traditions of Bihar.
A viewer said that it was a special experience to see Chhath Puja and faith of Bihar represented in a Bollywood film, so they decided to watch it with their family.
