But one day a police knock at the door turns his whole life upside down.

The rape allegation changed Samar’s life

Samar Mehra has been accused of rape by his ex-girlfriend Gayatri (Sapna Pabbi). Samar also meets Gayatri on the same dating app on which he meets Khushi. Samar and Gayatri’s meeting is normal, but as their story progresses, Samar realizes that Gayatri has become obsessed with her. He keeps a distance from Gayatri. He blocks Gayatri from his phone.

Anurag’s monkey does not fall into the trap of proving Samar right.

Anurag Kashyap’s film does not fall into the trap of court drama or vindication of Samar. The film shows how a rape conviction breaks a man apart. Bobby Deol has shown this very well with his acting.

Anurag Kashyap has not given many dialogues to Bobby Deol but he has strengthened the film with his acting without saying anything. The film tells about the world of prison. The film shows how all the inmates in the prison have their own cliques. No one likes a rapist in prison. No one likes to talk to them.

There is a dialogue in the film, in which a prisoner in jail says – this charge (rape) is a complete decision in itself. The film also seems to live up to this dialogue.

There are uncomfortable scenes in the film

How the jailed Samar slowly loses his mental stability and how he becomes the same person by the end of the film. Anurag Kashyap has captured many such scenes of the jail in his camera, which can make you uncomfortable. Be it the filth seen in the bathroom or the cockroach coming out of the drain, these are the scenes that might take your eyes off the screen but the amazing work Bobby Deol has done in these scenes is worthy of appreciation. After watching the movie you can say that this movie is the best movie of Bobby Deol’s career.

There is a scene in the film where Bobby Deol tries to kill a cockroach with his slippers but the cockroach does not die. You will love the way Bobby Deol has expressed his dismay over the matter.

The acting of Sapna Pabbi and Sanya brought life to the film

Sapna Pabbi’s eyes and her mysterious smile beautifully portray their passion turning into love. Gayatri’s passion for Samar looks terrifying. While Sanya Malhotra has played the role of Samar’s sister. Sanya has once again excelled with her small character.
