Mumbai is no longer the permanent home of Aditya Dhar and Yami Gautam. The filmmaker-actor couple has been spending more time at their Himachal Pradesh property and may have shifted their permanent base there now, according to a report. Free Press Journal.

The reported move is not entirely unexpected. Yami has had a close connection with Himachal Pradesh for many years, and the couple has already built a life around their property in Gohar, Mandi.

A house that has been close to Yami Gautam for years

Yami Gautam’s association with Himachal dates back to before her marriage to Aditya Dhar. He bought a 100-year-old heritage house with a 25-acre plot in Gohar. The wood and stone property is surrounded by organic kitchen gardens where the couple reportedly grow apples, potatoes, plums and ginger.

It’s not just a vacation home for them. Yami and Aditya tied the knot at the Himachal property in June 2021, making it an important part of their personal lives.

For many years, the couple’s professional commitments kept Mumbai at the center of their lives. They lived in a spacious rented apartment in Khar West. It is being told that the couple was renting the apartment for a long time.

After the success of Aditya Dhar has been keeping a relatively low profile Dhurandhar. One of her recent public appearances was at the National Film Awards ceremony in Gujarat. He and Yami were honored for this Section 370With Aditya being awarded as producer and Yami being recognized for his performance.

The couple has consistently kept their personal life out of the limelight. They welcomed their son Vedvid in May 2024 but chose not to reveal his face publicly. Even when Yami shared the picture with him in September 2025, his face remained hidden.
